Since 2016, I have served as Creative Director for New York City Tartan Week, an annual celebration of Scottish heritage and culture centered around Tartan Day (April 6), with the NYC Tartan Day Parade on Sixth Avenue as its main event. In this role, I led a full rebrand of the organization, designing a new logo, website, parade banners, marketing collateral, and a suite of digital and printed assets. I also collaborated with a developer to design a companion mobile app for the festivities. Each year, I create a collectible pin and T-shirt, which have become both beloved memorabilia and an important fundraising source for the nonprofit. Through thoughtful, consistent design, my work has helped strengthen the identity of Tartan Week and foster deeper connections across the NYC, U.S., and Scottish communities.
