Freelance Senior Designer/Design Director

I am currently under contract with a startup ad agency in Brooklyn. My role is to lead by setting high design standards and working alongside my team to bring ideas to life. I create the systems, processes, and onboarding experiences that make our work smoother and more impactful, whether it’s in print, packaging, or digital. Mentoring is a big part of what I do. I help designers grow their skills, shape their careers, and feel confident pushing creative boundaries. I work closely with leadership to shape projects, prepare briefs, and find opportunities to spark inspiration, from team outings to hands-on creative experiences.

After years of experience in a boutique design studio, I took the leap into the advertising world. With clients like Visible, Fernet-Branca, Ozium and Hyland’s, I learned to make that transition very quickly, delivering 360 campaigns and activations as I worked with a talented team of copywriters, designers, strategists and producers. Helping the junior team grow further into their freshly learned skills has also been a favorite part of my job.

Since spring 2015, I’ve been lucky enough to design and art direct several projects for this non-profit organization. They are the organizers of the annual Tartan Day parade and week of events, which takes place in New York City. I designed several posters, pins, ads, pamphlets, a mobile app, as well as new branding across the board.
